Thank you for being here. I wanted to start this blog with an introduction to share why I chose the name Manna Moments, the topics I plan to write about, and the heart behind this journey.
About a year ago, I went through one of the hardest seasons of my life. My anxiety reached an all-time high, and for months, I didn’t feel like myself. Simple tasks felt overwhelming–I wasn’t sleeping, I was constantly on edge, and even everyday things like being alone or driving felt impossible. I hated living in fear. When I finally identified what was fueling my anxiety and took action, it still took a lot of time to heal. I knew I couldn’t do it alone. My faith in God became my anchor. I prayed daily for strength, for relief, and for wisdom. And just like He promises, God showed up. He gave me support through my family and friends, encouragement through stories of hope, and, most importantly, His word to lean on.
During that time I came across Exodus 16, where God provided manna for His people–just enough for each day. It was a powerful reminder that God will sustain us, day by day, moment by moment. I realized I needed to stop worrying about the future and trust that He would provide what I needed, exactly when I needed it. That’s the heart behind Manna Moments–a place to reflect on those daily provisions of grace and strength.
Here, I will be sharing personal experiences, encouragement in faith, and insights from my life as a stay-at-home wife and soon to be mom. Writing has been on my heart for a while, but I wasn’t sure if I should take the leap. Yet, I kept feeling God nudging me in this direction, and I knew I had to be obedient. Whether this blog reaches many or just a few, my prayer is that it brings encouragement and reminds others of God’s faithfulness.
Here’s to new beginnings–thank you for joining me on this journey!
Joyfully,
Alyssa ❤️
